Guided Fishing
We offer guided angling for a wide range of species from trout, sturgeon, striped bass and everything in between! From picturesque rivers and lakes to the rugged Fundy coast, we know where and when to find fish and will do our best to provide you with a quality angling experience. We can customize any excursion to fit your needs and supply the necessary tackle so all you have to do is show up. Whether you prefer to fish with lures or flies, we can cater to your requirements. Rates are NOT per person. The group rates include up to the maximum quantity of anglers on board for the trip with all tackle and bait included!

Fishing on the Saint John and Kennebecasis Rivers:
(Local Launch locations: Saint John, Quispamsis, Hampton, Belleisle/Kingston)
Striped Bass (Early May- Early November) up to 4 anglers*
Sturgeon (Thaw-May 1 & September 15-Freeze up) up to 4 anglers*
Smallmouth & Pickerel (May-October) up to 4 anglers*
*NO LICENSE REQUIRED for the above trip locations.
GROUP RATES (1-4 ANGLERS):
Half Day (4hrs): $325
Full Day (8hrs): $550
(If you chose to fish in Fredericton, Gagetown, or Oromocto the travel surcharge is $100 extra)
Lake Fishing: Brook Trout, Landlocked Salmon, Brown Trout & Lake Trout*
GROUP RATES (1-2 ANGLERS)
(May 1 until Sept 30)
Half Day (4hrs): $275 up to 2 anglers
Full Day (8hrs): $475 up to 2 anglers
(We can also offer smallmouth/pickerel fishing on a lake for up to 4 anglers for but locations are limited and prices are the same are tidal river fishing due to using the larger boat)

Streamside Brook or Brown Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Shad & Gaspereau * (April 15-July 1st):
Half Day (4hrs): $200 up to 2 anglers (each additional angler is $50)
Full Day (8hrs): $400 up to 2 anglers (each additional angler is $50)

General Saltwater Fishing (Mackerel, Cod, Pollock, Dogfish, Cunner, Hake, Flounder etc):
Half Day (4hrs): $475 up to 4 Anglers
Full Day (8hrs+): $750 up to 4 Anglers
Launch locations are 25-45mins outside of Saint John.
NO LICENSE REQUIRED
*A license is required to fish inland non-tidal rivers and lakes and for shark. General saltwater, Striped bass, Sturgeon fishing and angling on the Saint John and Kennebecasis Rivers will be conducted in tidal waters where no license is required.
No Drugs or Alcohol Permitted : All anglers must be sober and the use of drugs/alcohol on board is NOT permitted. Any anglers who are not sober upon arrival will not be permitted aboard and will not be refunded. We want all guests to have an enjoyable and safe experience.
50% DEPOSIT REQUIRED ON ALL TRIPS:
Weather cancellations are at the discretion of the guide based on unsafe conditions and your trip will be re-booked if possible or your deposit will be fully refunded. Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances on the guide's behalf will be refunded or re-booked if possible and East Coast Angler shall not be held responsible for any expenses/losses due to a rescheduling/cancellation due to unforeseen events/circumstances. Deposits will not be refunded if the trip is cancelled by clients with less than 2 weeks notice or if they do not arrive. We have yet to be forced to retain a deposit as we do our best to work with our guests, but please understand that a cancelled booking can cost us much more than just the trip cancelled should we have to turn away another customer.
We advise that you supply your own sunscreen, bug repellent, food/drinks, rain gear, weather appropriate clothing and polarized sunglasses.
